About James Qi He
Dr.James Qi He Studied at Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing Art Institute and Hamburg Art Institute in Germany from 1980’s-1990’s. He got Doctor Degree on the art history and religious art in 1992. He was also awarded Honorary Doctor Degree from Australian Catholic University in May 2011.
Dr.James He was a former Professor at Nanjing Theological Seminary, visiting professor of Nanjing University, Nanjing Art Insititute, and Renmin University of China. Now he is a traveling artist and visiting scholar in the USA. He was a former board member of the Asian Christian Artists Association (1998-2006).
He also received the 20th Century Award for Achievement in recognition of outstanding achievements in Religious Art Theory and Christian Art Creation of IBC in Cambridge, UK.
His artworks have been displayed in many places around the world and been introduced on numerous mediums, such as New York Times, Washington Post, Christianity Today, Far Eastern Economic Review, Hong Kong Cable TV, BBC-UK, ABC-Australia in Sydney, the National Geographic Channel，Copenhagen Daily (Denmark), Bet Binnenhof Daily in the Netherlands, Princeton Post, Etc.
