| On June 15, China Reform and Development Research (CRDR),the Europe-China Friendship Group of the European Parliament and the Europe-China Friendship Association of the European Parliament jointly organized a seminar on “Deepening Economic and Trade Cooperation of China and Europe”. On June 16, CRDR, European Policy Study Center, Chinese Public Diplomacy Association and the German International Cooperation Agency jointly organized a forum on “China-EU FTA”: Opportunities and Action”. There are two main points of this forum. First, to accelerate the establishment of China-EU FTA of “One Belt and One Road”. Nirj Deva, the President of the Europe-China Friendship Group of the European Parliament clearly put forward that we should not only focus on the problem of excess production capacity but also realize China is becoming more open to the outside world. Secondly, a Chinese entrepreneur in Brussels pointed out that in “One Belt and One Road”, enterprises are still in difficulty sharing the whole benefits of going out and “fighting a lone battle”. |
