On Sept 17, Dr. Judy Chu, a Democratic Congressman from California's 28th District, held a 2023 fundraiser at the Sheraton Hotel in San Gabriel.
More than 700 guests from the Greater Los Angeles area attended tonigh's event. Congressman Ted Lieu, Los Angeles mayor Kellen Bass, California rep, the mayors and councilors from San Gabriel, Rosemead, Alhambra, Arcadia, Pasadena, Monterey Park and other districts attended the event to express strong support for Congressman Judy Chu's re-election campaign.
Boutros Boutros-ghali, WYETT, and ATDC invited Empire County Administrator Reymond and Castilo, who had traveled more than 200 miles from Empire County, to attend. California senators Bob, Achuletta, Assistant Senators Jilly, Miller and Compassion President Eric, Thèze, Shawn, Strickling, Christina, Ms. Sandoval attended the dinner as a guest of the United States Trade Development Commission. Levi Gong, Daniel Wang, secretary-general of the America Trade Development Council, also attended the banquet.
Boutros Boutros-ghali, Chairman Wyett, on behalf of the America Trade Development Council, gave Senator Judy Chu his support for her campaign, and the guests took a photo with Judy Chu.
In an impassioned speech, Representative Judy Chu thanked the guests for their support and said she would continue to serve her constituency and set out her goals for the future. He made a speech on the issues that voters care about, such as employment, environmental protection, health, community safety and racial discrimination. Members of Congress Ted Lieu, Los Angeles mayor Kellen, bass, California Rep. Peter Fang, and other delegates spoke in support of Judy Chu. As more people applied for the fund-raising dinner than planned, another one will be held on November 7 in Rosemary to thank the community for their support.
