U.S.-China Artists Exhibition opens

On the fifth anniversary of the America Trade Development Council, the U.S. - China Artists Exhibition, co-sponsored by the America Trade Development Council and the America Qi Baishi Art Institute, opened 2021. The exhibition is an integral part of the 5th-anniversary celebrations of the America Trade Development Council, and we warmly congratulate the U.S. - China Artists Exhibition on the success of the exhibition.

The America Trade Development Council (ATDC) was established with the approval of the United States government. It was joined by several high-ranking officials of the former non-governmental organization. We are committed to conducting in-depth exchanges and cooperation with other countries in the fields of economy, trade, culture, education, environmental protection, and health to promote world economic development. Founded in 2018 under the U.S. trade and Development Commission’s auspices, the America Qi Baishi Art Institute aims to bring Chinese master Qi Baishi’s calligraphy and painting to the United States, to promote the Integration of Chinese and Western Art in the United States.

ATDC attaches great importance to the development of people-to-people exchanges. The promotion of east-west cultural integration is also an essential part of the business of the agency. The United States is a multicultural country containing all kinds of cultural elements of the world. It is of positive significance to hold an exhibition of works by artists from the United States and China to strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries, promote the healthy development of china-us relations and enhance mutual understanding and friendship between both people.

In particular, the organizing committee invited painters, calligraphers, and sculptors from the United States and China to participate in this exhibition. The exhibition has received strong support and active participation from artists from the United States and China. More than 50 artists have signed up in just one month, and nearly 200 works have been submitted. The participating works have a high artistic standard and appreciation value, which brings extraordinary creative enjoyment for the vast number of calligraphy and painting art lovers.

We have received many congratulatory letters from U.S. dignitaries at this event. Congresswoman Judy Chu congratulated the America Trade Development Council on the achievements of its fifth anniversary. She’s highly impressed by the U.S. Trade Development Board’s review of the exhibition as a way further to promote cultural exchanges between the United States and China, and to enhance the friendship between the two peoples. She is also on behalf of the United States House of Representatives and the Constituency people to express congratulations and good wishes for this exhibition.

In another congratulation letter, Congresswoman Karen Barth congratulated ATDC on hosting U.S.-CHINA Artists Exhibition as part of the 5th-anniversary event. She said art could build up cultural and linguistic ties, providing both peoples opportunities to build friendships. She also wishes the U.S. Trade Development Commission could get more success in the future.

The America Trade Development Council expressed its deep appreciation to friends from all walks of life from the U.S. and China for their strong support and congratulations on the 5th anniversary. On behalf of the U.S. - China Artists Exhibition committee, ATDC would also like to extend our cordial greetings and thanks to the participating American and Chinese artists and their ministries for participating in this exhibition.
